Move In & Move Out Cleaning
Deposit-standard cleans for tenants, landlords, buyers and sellers across the Morongo Basin and Coachella Valley. Empty-home work, done to a walkthrough standard, with photo documentation of the finished condition on request.
Book the clean for an empty house, not a full one
The most common and most expensive mistake with a move-out clean is scheduling it too early. If we clean while your furniture and boxes are still in the property, everything underneath and behind them stays dirty, and you are paying for a job that has to be partly redone. Get the truck loaded first, then clean.
The same applies in reverse for a move-in. The best time to deep clean a home you are taking over is the window between getting the keys and moving your things in. Once your furniture is placed, the opportunity to clean inside every cabinet, behind every appliance and along every baseboard has gone until you move out again.
Work backwards from your fixed date. If the walkthrough or handover is Friday morning, the clean happens Thursday. If you are collecting keys on the first and the truck comes on the third, the clean goes in on the second. Tell us the deadline when you call and we will build the schedule around it rather than fitting you into ours.
Around Twentynine Palms in particular, a lot of this work runs on military PCS orders, which move at short notice. We keep some short-notice capacity for exactly that reason, so call and ask rather than assuming we are booked.

What a move-out clean can and cannot do for your deposit
We clean to a documented move-out standard and, on request, we photograph the finished condition so you have a record of how the property was handed back. That record is genuinely useful: most deposit disputes come down to one party’s word against another’s several weeks after the fact, and photographs settle that.
What we cannot do is guarantee another person’s judgement. A landlord, a letting agent or a housing office makes their own assessment, and no honest cleaning company can promise how that will go. What we can do is remove every reasonable basis for a cleaning-related deduction.
We also cannot clean away damage. Nail holes, carpet burns, pet-scratched doors, broken blinds, cracked tiles and stained grout are repair items, not cleaning items. If we find them we will tell you, so you can address them before the walkthrough rather than being surprised at it.
Not part of a move-out clean
- Repairs, patching or painting
- Carpet steam extraction or shampooing
- Removal of furniture or belongings
- Exterior windows above ground floor
- Yard work or landscaping
- Pool or spa equipment
- Junk hauling and disposal fees
Move in and move out cleaning, answered
How much does a move-out clean cost?
It scales with property size and condition. An empty, well-maintained two-bedroom is a very different job from a four-bedroom nobody has cleaned behind in three years. Tell us bedrooms, bathrooms, whether it will be completely empty, and be honest about the condition. An accurate description gets you an accurate price; an optimistic one gets you a revised price on the day, which nobody enjoys.
Should the property be empty?
Ideally yes, completely. Every item still in the house is an area we cannot clean properly, and that is usually exactly where an inspector looks. If the property cannot be fully empty, tell us what will still be there so we can price and plan realistically.
Can you do it at short notice?
Often, yes. We deliberately hold some short-notice capacity because moving dates change, particularly for military families on orders. Call and tell us your deadline; if we cannot make it we will say so immediately rather than stringing you along.
Do you provide proof the clean was done?
Yes, on request, and we recommend it for any situation with a deposit attached. We photograph the finished condition room by room and send it to you. It costs nothing extra and it has settled more than one disagreement.
Do you clean the garage and outside areas?
The garage is swept out as standard, and the patio, porch and entry are swept. We do not do yard work, landscaping, pressure washing or junk removal. If the property needs those, arrange them separately and ideally before we come.
What if the previous tenant left it in a terrible state?
Tell us that before we quote. Excessive grease, pet damage, heavy smoke residue or biohazard conditions are a different job with different time and equipment requirements. We would rather quote it correctly up front than arrive, discover it, and have an awkward conversation on your deadline day.
Do you clean before I move in as well?
Yes, and it is worth doing. You do not know how the previous occupants lived, and the window before your furniture arrives is the only time the whole property is accessible. Inside cabinets, behind appliances and inside closets are the priority items on a move-in clean.
Can you work from a landlord or housing office checklist?
Yes. Send us whatever checklist you have been given and we will work to it directly. It removes the guesswork entirely, and it is the surest way to make sure nothing on their list gets missed on ours.
